We have had a busy start to this year and have learnt lots already !! 

 

We have been finding out all about the Fire of London, listening to stories about Paddington Bear, written by the author Michael Bond and learning about Materials and their Properties in Science.

We looked at different objects and talked about the materials they were made from . We investigated their properties by finding out which materials we could twist,bend,stretch or squash. We then tested different materials to find out which would be most suitable to make an umbrella for Paddington's friend.
